I recently installed the 1.8.3 update and it automatically gave me a "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in /home/superna8/public_html/ow_core/developer_tools.php on line 376"... I am not sure how to fix it. Help?

Hi Desiree and welcome to oxwall,  this error has been discussed many times here and sorry you were not able to find information about it in your search.

The new version of oxwall requires php 5.5  so update your php and use phpinfo() to verify the version and it will correct the issue.

on the right side of this page are the minimum requirements

Also i just noticed that you seem to be using a free host for your site.  Just know that free hosts can be sparatic in performace, i used the same one you are on awhile back and it was not a good experience for me.  So just know performance issues can arrise from using a free host.

Please keep us posted...  thanks
