If I set a page to Members only, or if I insert auth code for users to register before seeing a page, will that page be indexed by search engines?

I'm considering having my blog for members only, but I still want the posts to be indexed. I also have a page that re-directs to the sign up page if not logged in or a member, & want that content indexed as well. Any feedback is appreciated

It depends, sometimes you have to give google permission to access a page. You will have to just keep an eye on your google analytics to see if there are any failed pages from the google spider. If so then you will have to give them access to that page.

I believe you can do so two ways, one is via analytics option (its been awhile so i dont know where that option is)

or you can do so via robots.txt file

simple answer is straight from google
no pages will be indexed that can only be viewed if login to the pages is needed to view it

so any page that can not be viewed publicly will not get indexed
