Just ran the 1.8.4 platform update, and the plugin update, and found that the Google API is needed to display the map, and other location info on the site. Be sure to read the plugin description for how to get one. The Dev has a link there that will take you to the correct page to start the process.
When entering a referrer use this format *yoursite.com*. Just use the default for everything else.
