Auto Uptate Failing | Forum

I am having trouble when I try to auto update from 1.3.2 to 1.4.0. My FTP credentials are correct, but I keep running into this issue:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@gkbglobal.gkbministry.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Of course I have to no avail. The 500 error I posted above is after setting Dev mode to "true"

I have searched the forum and people have listed similar errors also have not yet been answered by the oxwall team. Can you offer assistance?

My error log gave me the following error:

Option FollowSymLinks not allowed here

This error indicates that rules described in .htaccess file of Oxwall conflict with your mod_rewrite module settings. Contact your hosting company regarding this issue.
