Redirect all blog urls to desktop | Forum

Hi all,


I know that the blog doesn't work on mobile version of Oxwall. Is there a way to redirect all blog urls so that if someone opens one on a mobile device it shows the desktop version and hence actually shows the blog?


The problem I have is that if users open a blog say from Facebook on a mobile device it goes to my page but you just get the "not available on mobile...try desktop".


So just wondering if there's a way anyone knows around this?

After deliberation, I am getting developers to build a custom plugin for the blog content to work on mobile devices.  Thanks

Go to ow_system_plugins/base/mobile/controllers/base_document.php


FIND METHOD


public function page404() {

    

ADD THIS LINE AT THE VERY TOP


public function page404() {

OW::getApplication()->redirect(UTIL_Url::selfUrl(), OW::CONTEXT_DESKTOP);

Hi There,

I tried that it worked but it took me to the desktop 404 error desktop https://www.myvirgo.info/e500.php for my domain https://www.myvirgo.info but didn't redirect me to the actual desktop Url.....so how do I fix this to show the desktop version if mobile is not available as per joey's request?
