everytime a photo gets uploaded it is always turning up sideways need help to fix problem

This occurs when the pic was taken in landscape mode. When it is uploaded that is how it will be displayed. Currently there is no rotate feature for photos, but a suggestion has been made to consider adding one. The user will need to make sure the photo is in portrait orientation before uploading. This can be done using Paint to rotate the image.
