hey there..
i am newbie..so forgive me etiquette..i need to know how oxwall has implemented server push mechanism and how event manager works..basically i want to understand how notifications & chats are being delivered in real time..as far as i know oxwall doesnt use websocket or sse or comet...
plz educate & help me guys..

We use ping. If there's no chat conversations, Oxwall pings every 10 seconds, if there's a chat going on, then each 3 seconds.

thanks Ross...so you use polling mechanism..can u kindly also direct me how to use it?? plugin crash course says nothing about it and ping module in skeleton program is a bit too specific...it would be a great help for me...n thanku once again :)
