Would you check any JS error with your firebug? IN some cases JS error could cause not working chat.

in my own case the chat is working when i am in my admin area but when i get "back to the site" nobody is showing online.

This is the first sign of Javascript error on your site frontend. As I mentioned in previous post, enable Firebug in your Firefox and catch an error. IN general, this error could be caused by your ads code.

My chat isn't working either.
When I install it, the other functions don't work such as, "Comment"....so I always need to disinstall this chat function, but I really like the function and hope that my members get to use them.
Kindly enlighten. I'm a tech idiot so please help explain step by step. Thanks.

First, get firebug installed on your firefox here http://getfirebug.com/
then read some info about catching JS error with firebug here http://michaelsync.net/...cript-debugging ;
and then, debug it with your site, catch an error and share it in this topic :)

I still have no idea how to work with firebug.
I have this installed but i don't know or understand how to work with it.
I do not have the ambition or the intention to learn it because i have no time for it.
Anybody that knows how to solve the chat problem i'm facing will be rewarded for his work.

Hi Den,
Thank you for taking the time to check out my troubles .
By the time you came by to check out the site i had done a reinstallation of oxwall.
There were some things not working so i just deleted the whole thing and started all over again.
Things are working fine for now but i'm still testing.
I also use another theme .....just incase ;-)
