I think i must be getting old and loosing my memory
When I first set my site up I set it up so that visitors to the site could not view blogs, They would just get the message you do not have permision ect ect unless they were a signed in member.
Now I want to change that so that guest can view the blogs but I can't for the life of me remember how.
Anyone fancy jogging my memory of how I do this?

there are two places, one is in the user roles permissions, and the other one is in the pages section, just edit the actual blog button in pages section and put a checkmark for guests.

I must have have looked at that page a hundred times trying to figure it out and for some reason after viewing your maessage i could see the check box.
