In the User Settings of Oxwall it says that we can display, hide, or "display and set required" a userpic on signup.

However, I currently have our site set to "display" and yet it will not allow anyone to complete the registration process without a userpic, even though I have not selected "display and set required". This is creating a problem for our smartphone users who can not upload a photo on signup from their smartphones.

I don't want to have to "hide" this option as most would like to do this on signup, but I don't want it to be required either.

Please help...
