Language keys are missing. Ross mentioned in a post at one time that if you go to admin / settings / languages, and click on save at the bottom of the page, it will re-compile the language keys. This may work, and may not, but it's worth a shot.

All of those are base items. Not sure if it was a result of an install that didn't complete, or something else. I'm guessing the links still take you to the admin dashboard, and you didn't remove the Simplicity theme. You may end up having to edit the keys to add the language value manually. Maybe Dave, or someone with experience in this will jump in.

I sent Dave a link to this post.

Yes if you have tried to save the language as darryl suggested and it did not work to the best of my knowledge you can check one more thing, make sure you dont have dev mode and debug mode on at the same time.

If you are using a custom theme, it may be a theme issue.

It you dont have dev mode and debug mode on at the same time and its not a custom theme then youll have to add those keys by going to this url in admin you will have to type in the url manually

or yoursite.com/admin/settings/dev-tools/languages  and click on add new text and then choose admin section and then the key name

for example under admin section you would just add console_item_admin_dashboard  and the value would be  Admin Dashboard

And then youll have to add the other values as well in the same way.

values are

Edit Theme, Manage Users, Manage Pages, Manage Plugins

if you need m more values let me know i can look at my copy.

I am curious as to why those values aren't showing. They are part of the base files. Does everything else work correctly on the site? Did you do as Dave suggested, and make sure you didn't have dev, and debug set to true in oxwall / includes / config.php. This would be the dev, and debug shown at the bottom of the config. php page. You should never change the dev, and debug listed above the bottom section. They should always be set to false.

And as a reminder for anyone else that may see this. You should never have dev, and debug set to true at the same time.
