Do you know how this work ?

The interesting thing is, in cPanel at InMotion the cron job is set and it also sends emails out every minute. But this plugin doesn't show anything.

Ohh, it just gave me an error when reloading the page: "Can't get cron list".

What does this mean ?

Still doesn't do anything here.

And emails a ticking in in my inbox.

But again, it's like the cron does not work as it should. Two test users are still online after closing browsers several minutes ago.

It looks like this: curl -A Lynx/2.7.1 http://www.sitename.com/ow_cron/run.php >/dev/null 2>&1

My emails shows this:

If it still doesn't show any sign of working, go to your http://website.com/ow_cron/run.php in your web browser and see if there is any error pop up. If there isn't any error, check if the test users are still online. If they aren't online, means cron isn't working properly. Then you have to check your control panel and see if everything is in place.

Hmm, that's not that easy. I get the 404. .htaccess blocks it i believe ?

EDIT: Does my above post look like the cron is working ?

Is there a bullet proof way to test whether it works on the site or not, like some action i can do on the site that should get updated by cron ?

Hmm, i just get a 500 error. And debug doesn't show anything, which i think is weird.

Hmm, the direction of use is not right. I had to edit above this line too:

To get the debug mode to work.

It just shows a blank screen.

I still need to know how to effectively test whether the cron job is doing its job or not ?

Some things tells me it does not work, but there are no errors, and from the guides regarding it, says that it works if there's no errors.
