i honestly think not...  oxw become buggy, out of date, not anymore secure. I do not see any plugin update or add. I just gave up and remove my last oxw installation just 3 days ago... a bit sad because i believed in this project and i was on it from 2014....

If you look for oxwall on github you can see that there has been changes/updates in the core, free plugins and themes, here in the store I have seen new plugins and some others updated, some developers give good support. I'm new on oxwall but I have seen the source code and it is a very solid base to build on.

All depends on what do you exactly need, I have seen a lot of other projects like wordpress + budypress but the plugins that oxwall does have are a lot better for my needs, for me it doesn't really matter if the core is not frequently updated, because right now it is really secure, I have seen a lot of wordpress hacked websites and otther platforms because they have a lot of security holes.
