When I go to upload a new theme what does the field that pops up mean (Host, login, password, port). Is this specific to the theme that I am trying to upload (e.g. something in the theme that I have to find) or is it asking about something else?

You enter your cpanel login credentials there to allow the platform to perform the upload to the server. Don't change any of the other fields. Just enter the username, and password. This needs to be done with any updates, plugin, or theme upload via the admin panel.
