Petia,  am I correct assuming that you have a field of "text" type on your registration form where users can enter all kind of texts and you would like to restrict them from typing in URL addresses into  this field?

Petia, this can be done via custom code modification ( you will need to add regexp,  that will restrict certain combinations of letters and numbers).
