James, it is possible but requires code modification. There isn't any settings in current Oxwall admin panel which would have easily allowed you to do this.

Well I am happy to do this manually - I know how to create a HTML/CSS dropdown menu on my own, but I just don't know where I would insert the code.
I am assuming I can edit the CSS file for my theme and expand the navigation style
where would I put the HTML for the actual menu items to override the existing content menu?

What I wouldnt give to have a debate with you about this. You just say so many things that come from nowhere that Im fairly positive Id have a fair shot.
