Facebook connect is based on Facebook Graph API. This API allows websites to access various FB user profile data. The above error appears because FB API no longer returns  required user's email address.  This can be seen if run a test at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/ .

What is being done:

At this moment our team is working in 2 directions:

1. Correspondence with Facebook Support team.

We are trying to find out what should be done in order for the required "email" data to be returned via FB connect.

2. Researching alternative options.

We are considering other options that would now required email field for FB connect.
