I would like to add a Custom Text/HTML Widget at the top of the Join page and replace the default "Join our community".  Is there a way to do this through configuration or does it require custom code?

If it requires custom code, where would this need to be modified?

Thanks!

You should search in the language strings to change it. No code changes required.

Yeah, just go to admin, settings, languages, go to base and look for the variable Join+promo i think, and edit it. HTML is allowed, but I'd only recommend a video/few photos and a summarized paragraph of your site.

Thanks Puru and Jake!!  That's Exactly what I needed.  My Join Page looks great now and feels much more like a landing page.

I did not realize that so much could be configured through the Language strings.  I'm finding lots of ways to personalize my site.
