QuickBooks update error will occur when users try to update their software. Quickbooks is the largest no. of a user in the world as it provides the best services to its customers but when the company introduces a new update and users update their software they will get the Quickbooks update error.

The first step is to run reboot.

Restart the system and open QuickBooks desktop. Now install an update by selecting install now option, only if prompted. If you are still unable to install the update, then you can delete and download the update again.

An incorrect system date or time on your computer can interfere with the update process.

To check the system date and time on the computer:

Right-click the system clock on your desktop and select Adjust Date/Time.

Select Change date and time and specify the current date and time.

Select OK twice.

Close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop.

Run the update of QuickBooks Desktop again.
