I am designing a site for my college. So, is there anyway I can stop the newsfeed from uploading images and embedding videos. I just want it to post text only. Is there any way to do so?

No. I want to just stop uploading of images and embedding of videos in the newsfeed plugin. Is it possible? If, yes. How? Please reply.

Currently settings of the plugin doesn't allow disabling this from admin panel. You will need to edit the code.
