Now you can often hear the expression "download via torrent", what does it mean? This phrase means to download any file from the Internet using a certain technology. Every file, be it a game, a movie or a program, consists of parts (bits). On the Internet, the same file (a movie, for example) can be on the computers of many people. And if you want to download a movie via torrent, it will be downloaded in parts from different sources, and when all the parts are downloaded, they will be put together into one whole file. What do you know about that?

Due to the fact that the downloading is performed from different user computers, a high download speed is achieved. Plus, the downloading process can be interrupted and resumed at any time without losing the already downloaded data. In simple terms, thenewpiratebay.org is a technology of downloading files from the network in parts (bits) from different sources.

As I know all information about the game or movie you want to download via torrent is stored in a special file with the extension *.torrent. This file specifies where your movie will be downloaded from (for example), its size, how many parts it consists of and how it will be downloaded. The torrent file is opened in a special program - a torrent client, which is able to read its contents and download what it contains.
