Possible problem with the mansard roof for the conversion of the attic | Forum

I was hoping someone could give me some tips, please.
In October 2020, we completed the renovation of the attic by a well-known and reputable specialist in our field, and we were really satisfied with the quality until we lost all the tiles during Storm Eunice. This has not been fixed mechanically, but I understand that this is not a legitimate requirement.
However, the roofer I hired to replace them pointed out a potential problem with the mansard roof. It appears that the tile sections were not sufficiently overlapped and the roof was "stretched" to finish on full shingles. He struggled to replace some of the damaged roof tiles on the mansard roof because they were very dense, and said it wasn't caused by the storm.
Hopefully I've included some photos to show what I mean.
Does anyone have any advice as to whether this is acceptable, or do I have a reason to contact the company to discuss this further.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try contacting the original contractor, but since it's been 2 years, I doubt you'll get any positive response.

This is a common problem with some new houses after the storm. I would recommend contacting the local authorities and the company that installed the roof.
The same thing happened to the https://www.maxima-aluminum.com on my house. They were installed last year, and now they are destroyed. The original company agreed to fix them at no charge, and this was a very nice gesture of them. I still paid for the materials, but the work was free, which added a big plus to the company’s image.
This might happen, and the first thing you need to do is contact the company itself. And if they don’t respond, you better contact the local authorities and tell them about the incident.
