I saw some Melty Blood tier list around the corners of Internet. That tier list was describing characters canon abilities. For example: Hisui and Kohaku were listed under "Normal people" tier, and Archetype Earth under "S" tier.

Melty blood has some really cool characters such as Red Arcueid, Kohaku, Akiha Tohno from tier S. Kouka Kishima, Saber, and Miyako Ariyama from tier A. Shiki Tohno, and Ciel from tier B. Vlov Arkhangel and Noel from tier C. Michael Roa Valdamjong, Arcueid Brunestud, and Hisui from D tier. The S tier is at its best because these characters are perceived to be the finest and strongest ones on the basis of their abilities in the game. They have an extreme level of versatility and can be utilized in the best way in various situations.
