I am having trouble uploading a theme and plugin  I downloaded off Oxwall. Theme is night clubbing and plugin is myskype. It asks for FTP Attributes login and password, where can I find this for my account?

Thank you for your assistance ahead of time.

99% its not going to work.. If the uploading via Oxwall FTP works, you are considered to be lucky :)

Silvestre, were you able to upload and install needed items?

I am having a similar issue. I have just purchased/downloaded a theme and i would like to upload it to my oxwall site.

I used simple scripts to install Oxwall onto my host which is very convenient but do I now have to set up a seperate FTP to upload themes?

Otherwise, As per OW Visuals response.... I contact my host and ask them?

You don't need to setup a different ftp account on your server to upload themes.
I don't know where you are hosted, but you should have gotten your account info for uploading to your server, or enter you cpanel, or whatever...

Ok, sorted it.

For those that may read this in future.....

I located the OW_themes folder in my public_html directory.

set up an FTP account with a destination of that directory

Used an alternate FTP program "Core FTP"

Uploaded the .zip file for the them

Extracted the them through file manager

Returned to Oxwall admin panel and activated via the themes directory.

Sorry if this is plainly obvious to more experienced users.

Thanks Fred. I guess I just have a special FTP account now for themes. :)
