i am using 3151 but i cannot see where to make forum categories
i have only general any help be much appreciated

You must login as admin… Go to forum… You will see "add new forum". Just click it. Now you must fill forum name, section and description… After that, click add… See the picture. It will guide you.

and add new forum category
