as you can see it should not say {status} it should say status or read part of the status posted originally

Joseph, I have tested and was not able to reproduce the issue ( see screen shot attached).
Can you give us more information on when this issue happens? ( which theme you are using, where the status itself was posted, anything else that might help to reproduce the issue).

ok Aliia now have test comment back on that status and you will not see it in your notifications perhaps think a little more like facebook if i comment on Aliia's status I will be notified when Aliia comments back are you understanding what I mean to say here?
notifications should go both ways after someone comments they should be updated on every comment after that
