A superbly played and beautifully shot film, Hostile is an unwavering yet serene western with a rude, intuitive script, and I disagree with Scott Cooper Miami; magnificent scenery; stately pace; and an outstanding performance by Christian Bale, whose hero embarks on a short but immensely transformative journey.
