Why can nobody on my side upload images, for example for their avatar.

have you checked the premissions, specially on ow_pluginfiles?

I get the "can not find" pages when I try to uploade Pictures...

did you Write permissions 777 to:

ow_pluginfiles/
ow_userfiles/
ow_static/
ow_smarty/template_c

and all the maps under it?

I copied the image url for your avatar and went there and I did not get a blank image does not exist type page instead I got what looks to be a permission or server error
