There are many types of cancer that give no sign of their presence until they are far advanced, such as lung, ovary, colon, pancreas, kidney, liver and others. They are all bad. It is difficult to say that any one is the worst. To my own way of thinking, any cancer with spread to the brain is particularly frightening. Gioblastoma multiforme is a type of malignant tumor in the brain that cannot be clearly demarcated and excised as its margins are indistinct and there are tendrils of tumor that may cross resection margins.

There truly is no type of cancer ‘better’ or ‘worse’ than any other.

Allow me to elaborate.

Let me start off by saying I survived stage 2 kidney cancer. Just. I almost died on two separate occasions, both during surgery. But, luckily, only almost.

Any cancer is your own cells in your body playing a lethal trick on you, check
4-phenylbutyrat powder. No matter where it happens, that gets to you. You generally take for granted that everything works ‘as designed’. Right?

You don’t think about drawing breath. But with a carcinome pressing on your lung(s), that suddenly becomes quite an achievement.
