There's already anyway to quote members like in Facebook?

I was think in develop something like, but, as it kinda 'big' and complex, I don't wanna waste time if already exist something like.

Newsfeed principally, but it gonna be very interesting if this feature could works in everywhere (groups, photos, events, blogs, pm's, ...)
