Photo rotation is off | Forum

Hi.
First, I love Oxwall. More on that some other time and in some other venue.
I have what I hope is a quick question: How do I insure that photos retain their rotation after uploading? When I upload photos from my hard drive to my local server (127.0.0.1), they are all turned 90 degrees. I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8, MAMP and Oxwall 1.5.0.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer.

Never mind. I think when Preview rotates photos it doesn't save them as such. It just makes a  "note" to itself to display them as rotated. In any case, the photos display with the new rotation in the finder and when opened in Preview. But, when opened in GIMP, they display as originally taken. So, my bad. Or, my computer's bad. Or, somebody's bad.

Sorry.
