Well, the QuickBooks Error 6129 may appear in the Quickbooks because of some data verification issues in the compnay file. And thus relocating it to a new location may help. Carry out the following steps to relocate the QB company file in both single and multi-user mode.

For Single-user Mode:

  • Create a folder where you want to place the company file.

  • Then, copy the file to this location.

For Muilti-user mode:

  • First, move to the location: Windows >> Programs >> QuickBooks >> QuickBooks Database Server Manager.

  • Then, click on scan folders option, and hit Add a new folder to add the folder manually.

  • After that, click Scan and close the file when the scan completes.

  • Now open the company file free of error 6129.
