From the tool hub, choose Company File Issues, then select Run QuickBooks, File Doctor.
Keep in mind that this process can take up to one minute for the file doctor to open.
Also, you need to note if the QuickBooks File Doctor doesn't open, search for QuickBooks Desktop File Doc and open it manually.

Here are the steps on how to do it:
Close QuickBooks.
Go to the QuickBooks website and download the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Install the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Open the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Click on the QuickBooks Data Errors tab.
Click on the Run the File Doctor button.
The File Doctor will scan your company file for errors and fix any problems that it finds.
Once the File Doctor is finished, you can open QuickBooks and your company file should be repaired.
