Cant access files unless OXWALL created them | Forum

If I upload a file, or set a directory, unless OXWall created it, I cant access it by putting in a URL. Say I add "sitemap.xml" to my root directory via FTP, if I try to submit it to google, it gets a 404. When i try to manually navigate there, i get the same 404. Work around?

Try this...

add the following rule in the .htaccess of the root (public_html, usually):

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/FOLDER_OF_YOUR_CUSTOM_PAGE/
