The only feature I like in the Dashboard is Quick Links. I find My Profile more useful and have renamed it as MY Page. Now, is there any way to put Quick Links in My Profile?

The answer is already there, Matt. If you drag&drop the widgets, FRIENDS are my friends, BLOGS are only my blogs, etc. Maibox is already on the Top Menu.

I guess what frustrates, just a little, is that the widget already exists. It seems counter intuitive that such a useful widget would not be available, to drag and drop, site wide.

My Photos & My Video though?

It works, photos 'works' on our site. I have not tried Video, coz we don't use this plug-in. Another thing is to get 'Invite Friends' on Profile page.
