How to upload sitemaps file in .xml extension.If i put in root google webmasters can not find page, if i put on new page(they support only html file) google said that sitemap file is  html file. Please help :)

put it in a folder named sitemap.  so you it would look like this yoursite.com/sitemap/sitemap.xml This is I set mine up and it works

I try, but didn`t work.Where you put folder in root directory?

edit .htaccess file

it's not necessary to put it in a folder

if you put it in Oxwall root directory,u should add this line to .htaccess file

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/sitemap\.xml

I modified my htaccess file and my site stop working.I try to upload backup of htaccess but still nothing.Any solution?

I resolve problem with .htaccess, but still cant validate sitemaps with google again ``page not found`` ???!!!! I don`t know what else to do

I modify htaccess with this ``RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/sitemap\.xml`` but you must put in before end of htaccess.
