I know I'm another topic on this but i've tried the solutions listed on here and the wiki including SMTP i have tried the following:

wget -q -O http://wtwnetwork.x10.mx/ow_cron/run.php

curl http://wtwnetwork.x10.mx/ow_cron/run.php
my site is wtwnetwork.x10.mx, my host is x10hosting the file path to cron folder is /home/wtwnetwo/public_html/ow_cron/run.php
any help much appreciated i'm new to cron

@Tracy thanks but it stil didn't work but at least now it tells me that it couldn't open the input file. Now I have checked, double and triple checked that my user name, site url and file path are all correct also I have checked the file exists too

instead of cron jobs im in fact getting the 500.phtml problem alot. My free host doesn't say anything about a limit on multiple database connections. Also I have used oxwall software before on the same host (x10hosting free package) it was an earlier version of oxwall but it worked fine. When I ran the debug it gave me the message in the image attached. Any hope of a solution?

Beau, how many users do you currently have on your site? What is your site URL?
I have only 5 users on my site and the url is wtwnetwork.x10.mx I have reduced my cron jobs to only twice a day and that has reduced the amount of errors im hoping this can possibly be a temporary solution to my problem. Also their won't be many more users signing up as it is built just so my band mates can contact each other more conveniently.
