How to limit characters in:
->site.com/user/usarname (Example: minimum of 5 characters and a maximum of 10characters)
->Real username box (Example: minimum of 5 characters and a maximum of 10 characters)

Unique, this is custom code modification. Unfortunately I can not give detailed instructions.
Check join.php file (ow_system_plugin/base/controllers). You should do something similar to how "password" field works.
