In Satta Matka, players, known as punters, would place bets on a range of numbers. The betting process typically involved choosing a set of three numbers from 0 to 9. These numbers would be combined to form a three-digit result. For instance, if a player selected the numbers 2, 4, and 6, the result would be 246. The game involved drawing numbers through a process where a set of playing cards would be placed inside a pot or matka (hence the name "Satta Matka"). A person, known as the "Madhur Day" would then draw three cards from the matka. These cards would be shuffled, and the winning number would be determined.
