I have Friends activated.  I'd like to turn off the "follow" feature.  Is that possible, or does it require digging into the code?  If so, feel free to move this post to the modifications forum.    If it is in the code, any ideas where and what to take out?

I'm wondering if this will also help with my friend request = instant follow issue with things showing up in the newsfeed.

I have been looking into at least giving members the option of seeing who is following them.  I think it is kinda creepy not to ;)  I see two plugins that achieve this: Friends Plus (which has no reviews) and Follower Widget (which has great reviews).  Any input on which is better?  I don't mind buying one, but don't want to buy and find out I should have gotten the other one.
