installation using different http port | Forum

Hi. I'm having an issue on a fresh oxwall install. I'm using 1800 as http port on my apache server. Everything is ok but when I try to use newsfeed send button I got an error and I can see the url in my browser:

http://my_local_ipaddress/oxwall/newsfeed/ajax/status-update/:1800?

I cannot find how to set this port correctly:

http://my_local_ipaddress:1800/oxwall/newsfeed/ajax/status-update/

Any idea? Or am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Jud

Hi Pete. Thanks for reply. Apache is already listening on port 1800. It works good with other CMS and various apps. I think problem is inside oxwall.

Thanks,

Claudio

You may have to edit your htaccess file in oxwall to allow ,or it might will be a setting with your firewall on your server that needs editing ,due to its blocking

Mmh. There is no active firewall. Everything seems to work good except newsfeed send button (it points to  http://my_local_ipaddress/oxwall/newsfeed/ajax/status-update/:1800?). Do you know how can I edit htaccess file to set right path  / port?

http://my_local_ipaddress:1800/oxwall/newsfeed/ajax/status-update/

instead of

http://my_local_ipaddress/oxwall/newsfeed/ajax/status-update/:1800?

 Thanks again,

Claudio

Unfortunately, there is no solution for the problem at the moment. We will try to find a workaround for one of the upcoming builds.
