If these are not available what is the cost approx of doing all these?
[ Drupal Commons and Buddypress and Elgg does this as default or as free plug in BUt
they do not let post comment to blog from activity/newsfeed page, buddypress do not have the like or star feature like oxwall or elgg, buddypress ""évent'' is clunky ]

Standard Oxwall package doesn't have this functionality. But it can be added via custom code modification or via plugins.

For this purposes Oxwall has 2 newsfeeds: newsfeed on main page and newsfeed on user's dashboard. Main newsfeed shows all activity. Dashboard newsfeed shows user's and friends' activity.

Hi Aliia Thanks again.
I think I posted something at Uservoice BUT why does Oxwall uses a third party - true also for FB log in here ( FB does not have Oxwall log in and was smaller than Oxwall when it started )
( To find back in future what I posted at Uservoice means registration there, again to post job one has to register at Odesk - this means 3 registrations to use oxwall org - is someone being not serious ?? sorry 4 the rant )
Aliia the features I mentioned are very basic and what an user expects of a social net just as an email script is incomplete without a Compose and Inbox. Custom mod and DEv by payment are too time consuming as the world is moving very fast, and even may be impossible for us.
Unless the Devs are listening and acting immediately ( true they are doing it for free and in their free time) Oxwall is not going to gain a huge user base. Many users are just silently moving away, and I speaking does not mean I am the only one :)
