I just re installed the original chat and that seems to work.
The weird part is that it was refreshing just fine and then it stopped out of the blue at
the same time for me too as well as others. Im going to assume it has something to do with opentok.
I will be getting together tonight with the developer and should have an answer or fix by tomorrow! 
One last thing what is the name of your site so i can refrence it to the developer as well.
