Isn't the name of link to Dev provided under each plug in?

May be you can solve the problem:
Allowing privacy options for profile and each post - be it blog post or photo. This is actually a default core stuff in elgg and many buddypress plugins like bp media. In a social net users want to choose persons with whom she can share an individual stuff :)
