Platform update request | Forum

After making a fresh install of Oxwall 1.1
I get this message:
Platform update available. Update

and when clicking Update I get this question:
Are you sure you want to update platform from version 1.1.0 to 1.1.0?

What to do to remove the first message?

We didn't change the major version but we changed the build. You can see build number in your admin panel. It should be now 3480 :)

Yes I have the build number 3480 but the message:
"Are you sure you want to update platform from version 1.1.0 to 1.1.0?"
should then include the build version number too :D

I have a site hosted by inmotionhosting. I'm using Oxwall version 1.7.2
I tried to update to 1.8 two days ago and the result was "SITE CLOSED".
My site was closed and I had to restore it from the latest backup.
Concretely what does: "Request update" mean? Am I sending a request to Oxwall to update my site, or what? Why was my site closed? Did I do something wrong?
Please advise.
Many thanks in advance.
