I'm starting a custom theme and was wondering if there is a reason to use the same classes and IDs as the included themes or can I use my own? Without the ow_ prefix? I didn't want to run into problems later.

Well, I went ahead and used by own but I still need the ow_ classes for the header and component styles. Can I do custom templates to override those, like template pages in WordPress?

Hi Eric!
Yes, you can use your own class definition with your own prefix in CSS.
