As I know console was designed just for links and live notifications.
how do you think this quick search form will fit the console bar?

Ok, if not for the console, how about a search function for the menu bar?

I have to say the only one available in the store isn't that brilliant.

Does it allow to search through mailbox content, not only mailbox titles? If so, I`ll buy for sure:)

Also would be great to search through IM chat (AjaxIm), because sometimes we have useful info in chat messages and no ability to search through, by keywords. Although all data stores in DB

Yes, the plugin searches in messages content

The issue with the IM chat is that it does not provide a separate interface for viewing messages history with direct linking so in cannot be integrated with the search

Hope that Chat devs can update it to be searchable by your plugin
