A couple of our users have posted status updates that have attracted over 2,500 comments. When you click the view all comments link it takes several seconds longer than usual to load, which is fair enough. I can see these status's attracting more comments, is there a way to cap the comments off at every 50 and display the view all link again if there are more comments to be displayed etc ?

I think this should be addressed if possible for performance reasons mainly
