So i have setup the facebook part of this plug-in without any issues, users are able to send friend requests, which are received by FB users, however, when clicking the notification link to join my site and error appears in facebook and the user is not directed to my website.

Secure browsing is not supported

I do not have my site setup on https, is there way to fix this problem without replicating my site in the https folder??? Facebook now requires a https url for all new apps.

also having a similar issue, facebook is asking for a https url, I guess it should be this:

"https://yourdomain.com/contactimporter/fbcanvas/"

friend request is sent as normal, but when i click the link in notification area, https error appears, please see screen shots.

Any solution for this?

Problem solved, I had to setup my domain with an SSL certificate and set my domain to always use HTTPS.

Also make sure you submit your facebook app for approval, otherwise it wont work.
