Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Information Security, Cyber Security, Audit, Risk Management, Cloud Security, and Privacy Protection, Dr. Gupta has authored seminal works including “Cybersecurity Chronicles: Navigating the Digital World Safely” and “Secure Shift: Sailing Through Cultural Waters in Information Security.” His academic journey is highlighted by a PhD in Information Security and an MBA in e-Business.
Dr. Gupta’s professional accolades extend to prestigious certifications such as CISSP, Lead Auditor (ISMS, BCMS, SMS), Lead Implementer (ISO 27001:2022), GRCP, MBCI, CDPO, C-CISO, CRISC, CISA, ITIL v3 Foundation, CISM, BCCE, DRP 5000, CBCI, CHFI, CCIO (Cyber Crime Intervention Officer), CCC (Certified Cyber Criminologist), among others.
In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Gupta was part of the founding team that established CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team) India. Under his leadership and expertise, CERT-In was established for the Government of India under a public-private partnership model, further cementing his legacy as a pioneer in cybersecurity.
